Since 2003, the Eliava Institute is involved into the Georgian-American Program “Biological Weapon Proliferation Prevention” (BWPP) which aims at consolidation and protection of most dangerous pathogens, their detection, investigation and elaboration of different biological preparations against these pathogens.
