Nowadays the Eliava Institute of Bacteriophage, Microbiology and Virology (IBMV) continues its traditional work in applied Microbiology and Bacteriophage Research. The main aim of the ongoing scientific research is an elaboration of the ecologically safe bio-preparations and working out of the appropriate methodologies for their future applications for human and animal health protection, as well as in agriculture and environment protection. |

Investigation of the etiological structure of human and animal bacterial
pathogens, including antibiotic-resistant infections and development of
specific phage preparations. •

conferences such as, American Society for Microbiology, Evergreen Phage
