On October 15th 2026, the closing event of the regional science festival was held in Telavi, organized by Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University and supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

The G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology joined the festival. As part of the festival, researchers Lika Leshkasheli and Elene Didebulidze shared information with the young generation about bacteriophages, current achievements in microbiology, and the Eliava Institute's scientific research directions. Students from regional schools have participated in simple laboratory experiments, explored the microbial world, and received answers to their questions from young scientists.
